Do you have questions about the celebration? On our FAQ page, you’ll find answers to many of your questions.
Registration
We have reserved a large number of hotel rooms in the vicinity of the event venue. We must make these binding bookings well in advance. Therefore, we need to know who is participating from which laboratory.
Each employee has received an individual login code by email. Please keep this code safe. You can use it again at any time should you wish to amend your registration details.

The deadline for registration is 25th March 2026.
Travel and, where applicable, hotel information must be entered by 1 May 2026 at the latest. The final date will be confirmed again.
Participation
All employees of the AGROLAB GROUP are invited.
Freelance staff are also welcome to attend. Travel costs must be covered personally.
Travel
Each laboratory organises its travel arrangements individually. If you have any questions, please speak to your site manager.
If possible, arrival should take place around midday on Friday.
In the case of a particularly long journey, arrival on Thursday is possible, subject to approval by the management.
Specific travel arrangements will be coordinated at site level in consultation with the respective line manager.
Shuttle buses will be provided. Further information will be shared in good time before the event.
After the event, shuttle buses will transport guests back to their hotels.
The return journey to each site will be organised individually by the respective laboratory.
For rail or air travel, a shuttle service to the railway station or airport will be arranged. Exact departure times will be communicated in advance of the event.
Hotel
We have reserved a contingent of hotel rooms near the festival grounds. You will be informed in good time which hotel you will be staying at.
A hotel room will be provided if your travel time exceeds 75 minutes.
There is a very limited number of single rooms available, which can be booked upon request and with justification. In principle, accommodation is planned in twin rooms. During the registration process, you may indicate the colleague with whom you wish to share a room.
Hotel bookings are arranged centrally.
The costs will be borne internally by the respective laboratory. There are no costs for you as an employee.
Exception: Exception: Freelance samplers must organise and cover their accommodation themselves.
Yes. Any minibar expenses must be paid privately.
Yes. An extension is possible, but must be organised and paid for privately. The onward journey will also need to be arranged independently.
Working Time
No. No annual leave is required for travel or attendance at the event.
Those not attending will work as usual.
Deployment planning will be arranged by the site. If laboratory operations cannot be maintained, individual arrangements (e.g. annual leave or reduction of overtime) may be necessary.
No. No overtime credit will be granted.
On Friday, the regular daily working hours will be credited.
Example: Full-time = 8 hours; part-time in accordance with the individual working time model.
Departure in the morning: full working day credited.
Departure at midday: work in the morning; remaining hours credited.
Departure in the evening: travel time counts as private time.
Departure on Saturday counts as private time.
Please coordinate your attendance and working time arrangements with your site management. Laboratory operations must be ensured to continue.
Event
The staff celebration will take place on 11 September 2026 at the Volksfestplatz in Bruckberg.
The event will begin at approximately 2:00 pm and conclude around midnight.
In 2026, we will celebrate together as the AGROLAB GROUP. Therefore, there will be no additional location-specific summer parties or location celebrations.
Yes. Food and beverages are included.
A variety of meal options will be available, including vegetarian and vegan choices.
Vegetarian and vegan options are provided.
If you have specific dietary requirements beyond the standard selection, please contact the central address in advance as a precaution.
There is no fixed dress code. Please dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Part of the programme will take place outdoors.
Yes. A marquee will be provided. In the event of poor weather, an indoor hall may be used. Only in cases of extreme weather conditions may changes be necessary for safety reasons.
Beer, wine and aperitif drinks will be available, spirits will not be provided on the event grounds. Please do not bring spirits with you.
Yes. A designated smoking area will be available outdoors.
Yes, a photographer will be present. The images may be used internally as well as on the website and social media.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer or the on-site organisation team.
For organisational reasons, attendance is limited to employees only.
Yes. The venue is fully accessible and includes an accessible toilet.
If you have specific organisational requirements, please contact your site manager or the central contact address at an early stage.
Lost property can be handed in to and collected from the organisation team.
